Allow me to present a short video demonstrating the lack of hyperbole when I said I rode “exceptionally small trails.” I departed radically from anything that might reasonably appear on a map for this particular segment–between Firawa and Gberefeh, deep in the Salone interior.

Moral of the story? When local villagers say “go this way,” it’s usually a worthwhile adventure. Just FYI.

The video quality isn’t great because the GoPro housing kept fogging up with all the humidity and rain. Still…you get the idea: vewy vewy tiny twails.
