Happy Holidays

[ Manvel, TX ]

For the first time since 2012 I find myself in Western civilization for the holiday season. In Texas no less. It’s strange, and I don’t much like it. Though I’m inclined to offer up some sure-to-be-pejorative observations about the overt, suffocating levels of consumerism which mark (and mar) these hibernal, spiritually focused fêtes, I think I’ll pass.

In their stead I offer a simple, earnest: Happy Holidays. I hope you’ve joyfully passed whichever of them floats your particular shikara.

Namaste, Happy Solstice, et al
